Fans of The Vampire Diaries could stay at the Gilbert House

Ever wanted to stay at the Gilbert house from the Vampire Diaries?

Well now, it looks like it might be possible.

As I’m sure most if not all TVD fans know by now the Gilbert residence was put up for sale some time ago, meaning you could live like Elena Gilbert.

The house has since been purchased, however all hope of living in Elena’s house is not lost. The property will not be a form of residence, as rooms will be rented out so fans can now have a chance of staying at the house.

However, to make this dream possible Lonnie Jackson has just started a gofundme campaign in which she needs your help in order to make the dream possible.

Fans of the show, can donate on the page to help with the renovation of the house, in which rooms from the show will be duplicated in the house.

“We own The Gilbert House from The Vampire Diaries. We are trying to duplicate rooms within the main house and the apartments to match the inside of the home on the show, to include Damon and Stefan Salvatore suites. Once completed, we will rent the rooms out to the general public.”

The goal they are hoping to reach on the campaign page is 50 thousand dollars, so if you would love an opportunity to stay in Elena’s bedroom head over to the page and donate what you can.
