All UK TVD fans can rejoice, an official airdate has been
announced.
Last week ITV2 decided to announce the airdate for season 5
but it came with a catch. If fans really wanted to know the date, they had to
work for it and boy did some of them work. ITV2 made fans go on a scavenger
hunt to find the airdate with a season 5 promo picture split up into six, each
with a number and once put together created the date.
Personally, I think it made the announcement all the more
fun especially making fans take to the streets to find two of the six pictures.
Each day a new clue was announced and the TVD family had to work together to unveil
the image and number, even putting their TVD knowledge to the test. So after all the hunting over the last few days the air
date is 29/10/2013.
And after all of the fans hard work ITV2 have rewarded us all
to a sneak peek of the new season.
Well done TVD family, enjoy season 5, I know I will.
