What is happening to Liam? Crazy ex back: check, burnt his bar
down: check, being blackmailed: check, murdered Vanessa: check.
Liam doesn’t seem to be having any luck lately, now Vanessa’s
back his life seems to be going further and further downhill. He now has to
pretend to love Vanessa just so she won’t go to the police with footage of Liam
burning down his bar and she causes quite a stir at Naomi and Max’s wedding reception
with Silver. However, life for Liam is about to get worse because he has just
pushed Vanessa over a balcony and didn’t report it. Liam what were you
thinking? Is Liam now going to go to jail for murder? But where did her body
go, did it get washed away in tide? Poor Liam, nothing seems to go right for
him, but all Vanessa wanted was for him to love her, sorry but he thinks you’re
kind of a whack job, like the rest of us do.
This is the first episode in which we are introduced to the
character Riley. I don’t know about you but I think Riley is great , I hope to
see a lot more of him as the season progresses. Riley is a disabled man who is
at the recovery centre where Dixon goes to learn how to walk again. Riley’s first introduction is with Annie, and
it doesn’t go down too well, as Riley bluntly tells Annie the way she’s acting
around him isn’t helping Dixon, it’s clear to say Annie doesn’t like Riley that
much.
But this episode would not be a 90210 episode without Naomi
Miller Clarke holding a party to make her look god. Having read the papers that
have slammed her and Max’s shotgun wedding and Alec announcing that their stock
market has gone down, Naomi in true Naomi fashion decides to hold a party or
rather a wedding reception. The reception is to show how respectable the ‘Beverly Hills Bad Girl’ can be but the party doesn’t
quite go to plan when Alec invites two business men and Naomi not knowing who
they are accidently throws them out. Alec realising what she has done, tells
Naomi, but this isn’t a problem she cannot fix. Naomi persuades the two to come
back and to keep them sweet decides to throw a kick ass party at the winery. And
if people thought she couldn’t do, they clearly have never seen the show, not
only does she manage to turn it around she does it in 30 minutes and has a
artist to perform.
At the wedding reception, Ade kisses the club promoter guy
and then slaps him. This scene was showing what Ade truly wanted but couldn’t admit
to it, which isn’t fair to Dixon. The poor guys just nearly died and his
girlfriend is messing around with some other guy, and if he had any decency he
would clear off.
At the end of the episode, a scene between Silver and Teddy
answers some questions about what their relationship was when they were dating
back in high school. This question was never really thought about or asked as
it was more about Teddy coming out as gay rather than what it was going to do
to Silver. However, I think their relationship is still solid, but I do think
Teddy and Silver do make a great couple and it’s a shame they went down that
road with Teddy’s story line, because I do love them together.
Best part of the episode: is it okay to say Vanessa falling
off the balcony?
Side note: I don’t like the ‘new’ Navid, he needs to go back
to his loveable sweet self.
